GES COIR SEDIMENT CONTROL PRODUCTS
GES Coir Sediment Control Product is a necessity for any project, job site, or work location where soil or natural vegetation has been disturbed, moved, or cleared. Since these areas are most at risk of pollution due to sediment runoff, erosion and sediment control products are frequently implemented to contain and filter silt. GES PERIMETER SEDIMENT CONTROL MATS
GES Perimeter Sediment Control Mats intercept sheet flow from slopes and remove sediment and other contaminants through ponding, settling, and physical filtration, effectively preventing contaminants from leaving the site and entering surface waters. Concentrated flows within the site typically require treatment via source controls, sediment traps, settling ponds, or other methods prior to reaching the site perimeter. Ditch check dams are also used for small concentrated flows.
Silt fences and ditch checks such as Coir fibre rolls/ Bio rolls are the most commonly used methods of perimeter control.
In most applications, treatment occurs at or along the perimeter control device, e.g., silt fence or fiber log. Perimeter controls are generally recognized as the last line of defense in a system of erosion prevention and sediment control, and are usually placed near the down gradient borders of disturbed areas and soil stockpiles. They are also used to separate work zones from adjacent waterbodies.

GES COIR WATTLE
The excellent filtering ability and the superior durability of coir fibers compared to other natural fibers, makes GES Coir Wattles superior sediment control device. EPA field studies have shown that coir fiber not only removes sediment, but also phosphorus and heavy metals from runoff water. The biodegradable, yet durable outer netting in GES coir wattles is not only environmentally friendly, but also stronger and durable. Coir wattles can be used in restoration of stream banks with low flow velocity. The versatile coir wattles provide superior sediment filtering than all other sediment control devices in the market.
GES Coir Wattle is made of Inner core of Double cleaned unsorted coconut fiber encapsulate Dina outer netting of high strength coir with knotted junctions. Outer netting has a rhombic shaped mesh opening of 2”x2” . It is available in Standard sizes 6” dia 10 Ft length and 9” dia 20ft length.

GES Coir Wattles are long knitted coir nettings filled with coir fiber. The coir wattles we supply are made from cleaned mattress coir fiber. It is ideal for sediment control during construction. The netting around the wattles is made from bristle coir twine.
It is commonly used in restoration and construction site activities. The installation procedure is less labour intensive and coir wattles are 100% biodegradable.

GES COIR BED
GES COIR BED is one of many natural fiber products designed to help bring vegetation and other plants into your location. While these beds are perfect for wetland restoration and sediment control, they are not always equipped for steep areas.
They are made out of 100% natural coir fibre and woven coir netting with required mesh size. The cleaned and sorted Coir fibre is sandwiched between two layers of tightly woven Coir mesh mattings to form a bed.
